AstaReal AB launches Membralife – new series of sea buckthorn products for skin and mucous membranes

AstaReal AB is taking another step in its consumer-focused strategy by launching Membralife, a new series of sea buckthorn products developed to treat and prevent dry skin and mucous membranes. The Membralife series consists of two products – a dietary supplement in capsule form and a serum.

“Membralife is the next step in our mission to offer high-quality health products with a strong scientific foundation, tailored to meet a clear need in the market. We are pleased to offer a product of this caliber to Swedish consumers,” says Peter Carlsson, Business Area Manager at AstaReal AB.

The Membralife dietary supplement contains organic sea buckthorn oil with natural omega-7 content, other polyunsaturated fatty acids, vitamin A, vitamin C, and vitamin E. The capsules are plant-based and gluten-free.

“The supplement can help moisturize the body’s mucous membranes in the eyes, mouth, and genital area, and assist people who experience dryness.”

The serum, Membralife Active Glow Serum, is based on 100 percent organic sea buckthorn oil and is developed to hydrate and strengthen the skin, as well as support the skin’s natural repair process. The product contains naturally occurring omega-7, carotenoids, and vitamin E, and is suitable for all skin types.

“We’re seeing increasing demand for products that both nourish and strengthen the skin and mucous membranes, especially among women in menopause but also among those who live in dry environments. With Membralife, our aim is to offer a solution that combines science with nature’s resources.”

The launch of Membralife marks the next step in AstaReal AB’s long-term strategy to strengthen its presence in the consumer health market. The company has previously introduced the garlic supplement Kyolic, the swallowing aid Medcoat, and taken over distribution of its own product Astaxin.

“By continuing to expand our portfolio with evidence-based products, we strengthen our position as a relevant player in consumer health. Owning more brands enables us to get closer to consumers, which provides valuable insights into the types of health products they want,” says Peter Carlsson.

Membralife is currently available exclusively at Swedish health store Hälsokraft.
